NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY
Was born in Alaska and has called Pasco home since the age of six. Attended St. Patrick School, Pasco High, CBC, and WSU Tri-Cities.

Has worked in conjunction with the Pasco City Council for 8 years on the Pasco Planning Commission, currently as Chair. In this capacity Zahra presides over public meetings on land use, urban planning, and zoning issues.
Has served for 4 years as an active member of the Children's Developmental Center Board, currently as Board Secretary. This is the lead agency for Eastern Washington for addressing early learning delays.
Is the mother of three children and wife of John Roach, a Pasco business owner.
Serving my community is at my core. It was the example my parents set for me and now the example my husband and I set for our children. Pasco is my home and I'm very proud to live here. I'm running because I want to give my time and talent to the place I love and to others who also consider it their home. I will use my knowledge as a member of the Planning Commission to help Pasco develop business growth that will welcome more commercial and industrial investment. Pasco is rapidly changing, and we need new voices to help guide its growth and reach its full potential.
If elected, I will continue the culture of collaboration this council has created. Pasco is emerging as an innovative leader in the Tri Cities and I want to continue that leadership style.
